Force utorrent to only load torrents through VPN

If you would like to force your utorrent software to only load torrents through VPN, you will need to follow the tutorial of restricting any software to the VPN with a Firewall in order to make sure you configure your Firewall to block utorrent from accessing the Internet other than through the VPN.

Once you have done that, you might still experience some leaks with utorrent, where it would use svchost.exe to access the Internet even though the VPN is offline. This is because utorrent is using either Ipv6 or Teredo to bypass the Firewall.

If you want to get rid of IPv6:
Start > Run > cmd /k netsh interface ipv6 uninstall
(You may also visit this Microsoft knowledgebase article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929852)

Or if you want to simply disable Teredo:
Start > Run > cmd /k netsh interface ipv6 set teredo disabled

Once you have disabled one of the two, or both, you should notice that utorrent no longer leaks through svchost.exe.
