PPTP (VPN) for Windows RT

PPTP is the easiest and most useful VPN technology to set up. Follow the easy steps described below to achieve configuring a tunnel to proxy.sh PPTP servers on Windows RT.

Begin by accessing the "Settings search" by pressing the Windows Key (the second key to the left of the spacebar) and the W key at the same time.

Type "VPN" into the Settings search field.

Click or Tap the option "Set up a virtual private network (VPN) connection".

Enter the IP address of our VPN server in the "Internet address" field. This IP address (or hub address) has been given to you by email or is available in your VPN package details.

When you have correctly input the server IP and chosen a destination name (e.g. PROXY.SH), check "Remember my credentials" and click on "Create".

Access the Settings Menu by pressing the Windows Key (the second key to the left of the Space Bar) and the "i" key at the same time.

Click or Tap the Network Connections icon (signal bars).

Click or tap "PROXY.SH" under Connections.

Tap "Connect".

Enter your proxy.sh VPN username and password (it is not the same as your account password!). Click "OK".

You will now connect. Once it shows "Connected", you are all done. Enjoy!

If you cannot connect successfully, please open a support ticket and include a screenshot of your configuration and encountered errors. If you do not include a screenshot, it will be hard for us to help you resolve the issues you have with connecting to our network.
