Safejumper for Apple iOS

In order to connect to the Proxy.sh VPN network with iOS, we recommend that you use Safejumper. It will configure an .ovpn configuration file that you can import into OpenVPN Connect. We will now explain to you how you can do so.

On your mobile device, access the App Store and find the Safejumper application.

In the details popup, click Get and then Install. Enter your Apple ID and password if you are prompted to.

Click Open once the downloading has been completed.

The Safejumper dialog requesting a username and a password pops up.

Enter your VPN credentials into Username and Password. If you want to save them, check the Remember my details box. Notice: The password is case-sensitive.

Now tap Sign In.

Select your favorite location in the displayed list of server locations.

Select a port on the next screen. We recommend TCP port 80 for improved stability.

Tap Import Selected Config to generate a configuration file you can import to OpenVPN Connect. If you haven't got OpenVPN Connect already, you can install it.

A popup shows up to let you choose between installing OpenVPN and opening the configuration file. You need to install OpenVPN first and then load the configuration into OpenVPN.

Tap No, point me to it in the Appstore in the displayed popup.

In the OpenVPN Connect details popup, click Get and then Install. Enter your Apple ID and password if you are prompted to.

Click Open once the downloading has been completed.

Once you have OpenVPN installed, go back to the Safejumper window and tap Import Selected Config again.

In the warning popup, tap Yes, I got it, point me to the config. This will open Safari proving you a configuration file.

Copy the configuration file to OpenVPN by taping Open with OpenVPN or Copy to OpenVPN.

Access the OpenVPN application.

The server configuration is available for import. Tap the Plus icon.

In OpenVPN Connect, enter your VPN username and password. Notice: The password is case sensitive.

Click on the Save slider if you wish to save your credentials.

Click on the Connection slider to initiate the connection.

When you're protected, there is a VPN indicator in the upper left corner of the status bar.

In the OpenVPN interface, the status turns to "Connected", and the green check mark is displayed.

That's it, you are now secure!
