Connect to Proxy.sh SOCKS proxy within the Proxy.sh VPN network

Proxy.sh provides to all its customers a fast SOCKS proxy within its own VPN network. Connecting to this proxy is very simple. You need to configure your software/hardware so that it connects to the following SOCKS proxy server.

Host: socks.proxy.sh
Port: 1080
(or socks.proxy.sh:1080)

There is no login required as authentication is exclusively based on originating IP address (in other words, you need to be connected to one of our nodes to be authenticated into the SOCKS proxy server).

Using our SOCKS proxy server will add yet another layer of security to your connection to the external world. Most importantly, if your VPN disconnects, all your software configured with ourSOCKS  proxy server will no longer have network connections made available ("kill switch" if you prefer). This is particularly useful if you want to transfer files discreetly without being worried about a service disconnection (and a potential auto-resume of the transfer in insecure conditions).

NB: This SOCKS proxy is located in New York (NY), USA.
