I am connected to the VPN but ports I want to use are blocked.

Usually, when you are connected to the Proxy.sh VPN network, you should be able to use any port you wish. We also let you forward up to five ports. Nonetheless, because our VPN network is sometimes subject to abuse, some of our VPN nodes have port forwarding completely disabled and do not allow peers to listen to any port other than those they indicate in the "Port Forwarding" tab of VPN account details.

Indeed, if you go to our Network Status, you will notice that some of our VPN nodes have port forwarding disabled. It means that your port forwarding configuration will not be taken into account on these servers. Worse, by default most ports will be blocked by the firewall.

In order to open some ports on these server those port forwarding is disabled, you need to go to your VPN account details. Then, go to "Port Forwarding" tab, and input in "Ports to Open" (rather then "Ports to Forward"), the ports you wish to have opened on servers whose port forwarding is disabled.

Port forwarding on servers where it is disabled is of course not possible, but the option described here nonetheless lets you open some special ports to at least listen through them.
